The Yogi’s Journey
I was introduced to yoga by a former club basketball coach my sophomore year of college when I was struggling with depression and anxiety. Hesitant at first, I eventually took a local vinyasa class in town and finished the class with an entirely different perspective. I was motivated to become the best yogi I could be for all the wrong reasons (competition, ego, etc)… As time progressed, I realized yoga was way more than wearing cute yoga pants and sticking challenging poses.
